Are you an experienced Construction Estimator / Project Manager who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and making a meaningful impact in your community? We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional with proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Prior multi-project management experience is required; a relevant college degree may be considered in lieu of direct experience.
The Corvallis Contractor provides a wide range of construction services and are looking for a leader to oversee estimating, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution for residential homes, renovations, and commercial restoration and construction projects. This role requires strong sales acumen, in-depth knowledge of estimating and project management processes, and exceptional communication and leadership skills. Demonstrated experience managing project budgets from inception through completion across multiple jobs is essential.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading sales efforts and preparing detailed, accurate estimates based on field reviews, documentation, and architectural plans
- Meeting with clients to present scopes of work, answer questions, and secure approved projects
- Preparing and submitting professional proposals, including pricing and supporting documentation, and communicating with clients and insurance companies
- Coordinating approved projects with office staff, crews, vendors, and subcontractors for scheduling, materials procurement, and billing
- Managing project kickoff meetings and conducting in-field check-ins to ensure clear understanding and execution of project scope
- Maintaining strong vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure updated pricing, material availability, and accurate quoting
What You'll Bring With You
- Proven experience in construction estimating, budgeting and project management
- Strong knowledge of cost control and pricing strategies
- Proficiency in Xactimate and project management software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities
- Experience collaborating with sales teams and managing a sales pipeline
- Familiarity with construction site operations and contract management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
