🔍 Overview
We're looking for a Head of Strategic Finance and FP&A with a minimum of 6-7 years of experience to be the analytical engine of our finance function. We're seeking someone with a strong background in a high-intensity environment like banking or private equity, coupled with in-house experience at a fast-growing startup. This individual will own our operating model, drive strategic financial decisions, and help us scale rapidly. You should be someone who isn't afraid to inherit a lot with little direction and is excited to build from the ground up.
🧩 What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the operating model, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
- Lead the annual budgeting process across the entire organization.
- Develop and manage the company-wide financial KPI framework.
- Prepare board packages, manage investor reporting, and work with lenders.
- Analyze unit economics and create frameworks for new market entry.
👤 What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in a combination of high- intensity finance (banking/PE/consulting) and in- house startup FP&A/strategic finance roles.
- 2+ years in a high- intensity role (Investment Banking, Private Equity, diligence- focused consulting) combined with 3+ years in an in- house FP& A/strategic finance role at tech startups
- Experience at a fast- growing, scaled, Series B+ startup.
- Experience in health tech
- Experience building three- statement financial model from scratch.
- Owned the operating model, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Experience presenting financial analysis to a board or investors.
- Thrives in a messy, unstructured startup environment with little direction.
