Position Summary
Oxford Capital Group is seeking a highly motivated Analyst / Associate to join its Acquisitions & Asset Management team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, a passion for real estate investment, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role provides broad exposure across the investment lifecycle—from sourcing and underwriting to due diligence, development oversight, and asset management—primarily focused on hospitality, multifamily and senior housing opportunities.
The Analyst/Associate will work closely with senior leadership, including San Francisco based COO/Partner, VP of Acquisitions & Development, and other local OCG/OHR colleagues, gaining direct mentorship and visibility into strategic decision making across Oxford’s investment and operating platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisitions
- Identify, evaluate, and underwrite acquisition opportunities aligned with Oxford’s investment strategies, with a primary focus on hospitality and multifamily assets.
- Build, update, and refine complex financial models, including operating pro formas, development budgets, cash flow waterfalls / promote structures, and scenario analyses.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including review of appraisals, financial statements, third‑party reports, loan and legal documents, operating data, and market research.
Development & Design Coordination
- Collaborate with internal design, construction, and development teams to support project planning and execution.
- Prepare and manage detailed development budgets, monitor cost performance, track construction timelines, and support the monthly draw process alongside accounting and development team members.
Asset Management
- Provide strategic insight and analytical support to active portfolio assets.
- Work closely with property level teams to prepare investor reporting, annual business plans, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
- Hospitality investment experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly driven self starter with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality analytical output.
- Positive attitude with a strong team oriented mindset and exceptional work ethic.
- Willingness to relocate to San Francisco, CA
