Our client is a technology focused private equity firm based in the Bay Area. They are looking to add a Business Development/Sourcing Analyst to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Source, identify, and analyze new investment opportunities including interfacing directly with technology company founders and CEOs
- Travel to industry/banker conferences
- Develop investment theses and deep dive on specific technology areas
- Perform research of new markets,technologies, competitive landscape, and share findingswith the team
- Assist andsupport portfolio companies with operational andM&A initiatives
- There is an opportunity for high performers to take on more responsibilities outside of sourcing (execution work) and to be promoted directly to an Associate
Requirements:
- Experience inPE/VC, investment banking, management consulting, technology, or similar role
- Superior work ethic, a desire to learn the PE business,and uncompromising attentionto detail
- Excellent execution and time management skills
- Excellent written, communication andpresentation skills
- Positive attitude, independent, and self-starting
- Passion for technology
- 0-2 years of experience in related fields
Location of the position is in Menlo Park, CA or Atlanta, GA
