Job Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer/Architect leads the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for building secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions that support day-to-day operations and long-term technology initiatives. This individual works as a technical leader, ensuring network systems perform efficiently and securely while supporting critical services such as voice communications and video systems. The role bridges high-level network planning with hands-on engineering and operational support.
- Design, implement, and support secure and reliable WAN, LAN, and data center network environments
- Lead network architecture efforts to ensure scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability
- Configure and manage enterprise networking equipment, including firewalls and routing platforms
- Develop and maintain secure internet connectivity and routing strategies
- Support network segmentation and access controls to protect systems and data
- Implement and manage network security policies, VPN connectivity, and firewall configurations
- Design and maintain Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure stable voice and video performance
- Support network infrastructure for voice systems and video surveillance environments
- Conduct capacity planning and monitor network performance to anticipate future growth
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and serve as escalation point for complex network issues
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of service disruptions
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on enterprise initiatives
- Maintain documentation of network designs, standards, and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience
- 3+ years in a senior or lead network architecture role
- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Junos OS (MX, EX/QFX, SRX)
- Knowledge of BGP (path manipulation, filtering, peering)
- Extensive experience designing and operating MPLS networks (LDP, RSVP-TE, L2/L3 VPNs)
- Proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls including Panorama, App-ID, Content-ID, and WildFire
- Strong experience supporting high-volume, real-time traffic environments including QoS for VoIP and IP Video
Preferred:
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments
- Certifications such as JNCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent
