Are you an early-career engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working hands-on in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support automation, process improvement, and production efficiency initiatives at our Libertyville facility.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to automation, mechanical design, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement while making a measurable impact on operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily production operations and troubleshoot process challenges
- Assist with automation design, development, and implementation
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Create technical drawings and support reverse engineering projects
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Write clear work instructions to transfer processes from Engineering to Production
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external suppliers on product and process development
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR Associate degree in a manufacturing-related field with relevant experience
- 0–3 years of mechanical design or manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them in a manufacturing setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to prioritize projects and drive work to completion
- Experience working collaboratively in team environments
Preferred
- Exposure to FEA, CFD, or CAE tools
- Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances

Work Environment
This role operates in both office and manufacturing floor settings and is considered a safety-sensitive position.

The salary range for this position is $64,896-$81,120. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
