Job Summary:
Assists in collaborating, planning, designing, implementing, and executing entry-level tasks and projects to support functions associated with the Business Applications suite, including basic aspects of Oracle E-Business Suite modules such as Purchasing, Inventory, Sales, Warehousing, Quality, Production and Financials. Supports other business applications like Reporting and BI Analytics under the guidance of senior Business Analyst/Developers. Learns to assist with simple interfaces and code modifications specific to NOW Health Group processes, with a focus on training and development for future growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists in IT projects by helping to define basic project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the user and IT teams, under senior guidance.
- Learns client requirements and how they translate into application features; supports the IT team in setting specifications for new and existing applications.
- Helps evaluate existing applications for updates and simple feature additions; assists in designing basic prototypes and developing program fixes in a development/test environment prior to production.
- Writes basic source code under supervision to contribute to applications within deadlines; performs simple unit testing and assists with integration testing; helps troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Contributes to technical documents and handbooks to represent application design and code, with guidance.
- Communicates basic user cases, project expectations, and deliverables to team members and stakeholders.
- Learns about new technology options and helps establish guidelines for implementation.
- Provides entry-level technical support and process knowledge.
- Works with other Business Analyst/Developers in a team environment and learns to adhere to coding standards and specifications.
- Uses Oracle development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, Toad or Oracle BI tools to assist in creating simple workflows and procedures.
- Leverages company approved Generative AI tools to accelerate software development.
- Stays current with advancements in Generative AI tools and recommends tools for consideration that may provide company benefit.
- Collaborate on debugging, optimizing code and integrating AI features into software products.
- Complies with safety and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Computer Science from a four-year college or university.
- Previous internship experience or prior relevant work with at least one company.
- Basic familiarity with programming in at least two languages such as Javascript, Python, C#, Java, etc.
- SQL experience in either PL/SQL and/or T-SQL.
- Introductory knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, and Generative AI.
- Basic understanding of Cloud Computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Willingness to learn tools like SQL Developer, Toad, and basic BI analytic tools.
- Exposure to operating systems like Linux or Windows through coursework or personal projects is a plus.
Language Skills
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to discuss projects using high-level, non-technical terms. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment, with guidance on technical intricacies and big-picture ramifications. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability required, with a focus on learning and development.
