Sales Development Representative – Engineering & Manufacturing Staffing
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative with established professional relationships in the manufacturing industry to drive new client acquisition and expand our footprint in the engineering and technical staffing market. This individual will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and supporting workforce solutions for manufacturing organizations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in B2B sales, business development, and client relationship management, with direct access to decision-makers in the manufacturing sector. Experience within the staffing industry or recruitment services is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new client acquisition opportunities within the manufacturing industry
- Leverage existing professional network to generate qualified leads and referrals
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans
- Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, plant managers, operations leaders, and HR executives
- Present tailored engineering staffing solutions to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements
- Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure successful placement delivery
- Track activity and performance using CRM systems
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales development or business development
- Established professional relationships in the manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales and lead generation
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workforce needs
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities
