Title: Manufacturing & Design Engineer
Role Summary
The Manufacturing & Design Engineer will lead the design and execution of complex engineering projects, bridging customers, sales, operations, and internal teams. This role ensures products meet technical requirements, cost targets, and delivery timelines while driving process improvements and innovation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Shift: 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Team Size: Joining a small, collaborative team of 2 engineers
- Travel: Minimal
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop 3D models and detailed drawings for machining, fabrication, and assembly. (Fusion – AutoCAD)
- Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings in ERP for new and existing projects.
- Collaborate with sales to prepare cost estimates and routing times.
- Develop in-process quality check sheets and ensure compliance with job travelers.
- Explore alternative manufacturing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain standard engineering processes and best practices.
- Support quoting, order processing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required:
- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or industrial design.
- Proficiency with Autodesk tools (Fusion 360, Inventor).
- Experience in design engineering within an industrial/manufacturing setting.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Co-op or internship experience for entry-level candidates (flexible on experience).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
