Job Title: Product Development Associate
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive
Product Development Associate to support the Product Development team throughout the lifecycle of each collection. This role is focused on coordination, tracking, and cross-functional communication rather than technical design work. It’s ideal for someone who thrives on organization, timelines, and keeping moving parts aligned in a fast-paced fashion environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product development team from concept through production
- Track samples, submits, trims, and materials to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain development calendars and milestone trackers
- Update and manage development charts, line sheets, and product information
- Communicate daily with vendors and factories regarding timelines and follow-ups
- Assist in organizing fit sessions and recording notes (no technical patternmaking required)
- Coordinate cross-functional communication between design, sales & merchandising, and production
- Organize and maintain fabric and development materials
- Costing updates and documentation as needed
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in fashion or product-related roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM systems is a plus (Centric, Exenta, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Garment construction and fabric development expertise a plus
Salary $70,000-$75,000
