General Summary
The
Product Development Assistant is responsible for assisting the Product Manager to ensure an efficient system of sample tracking, shipping, and flow of product through the production life cycle. This position supports the Wholesale Footwear business.
The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our LIC office and requires working on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and organize daily shipment
- Check production test cases for quality and review with the Product Manager
- Ship samples or swatches to designated locations and help follow up with tracking information
- Maintain sample closets
- Prepare spec sheets and communicate with vendors clearly to pass
- Communicate with vendors in a timely manner to pass product development comments
- Update line sheets during line reviews
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00-$26.00. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
