We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Data Governance Program Manager to lead enterprise data governance initiatives focused on data quality, compliance, and risk mitigation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across the organization while supporting analytics and AI initiatives.
The ideal candidate will partner closely with business leaders, IT teams, security professionals, and privacy stakeholders to promote strong data stewardship practices and reduce risks related to data handling, classification, access, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate enterprise data governance and stewardship activities
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with organizational standards
Oversee data-related AI risk controls, including classification, categorization, access, and privacy considerations
Collaborate with data stewards, ISOs, business leadership, IT teams, and the Chief Privacy Officer
Support data-driven decision-making at senior leadership levels
Promote data integrity, security, and responsible data usage across departments
Drive governance best practices, frameworks, and process improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information management, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in data governance, data management, analytics governance, or related roles OR experience in business functions (finance, operations, risk) with direct engagement in data and technology initiatives
Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices
Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and influence change in complex environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
