Role Overview
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and evolve a modern, cloud?native test automation strategy for a cloud security platform. This role is critical in elevating testing maturity, introducing scalable automation, and helping drive a long?term vision of AI?assisted functional testing.
This engineer will act as a builder and problem solver—someone who can take ideas, goals, and challenges and independently design and deliver solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and coverage across the platform.
Required Technical Skills
Strong experience in test automation engineering, including framework design and implementation.
Hands on experience with cloud native and serverless architectures.
Proficiency in Python, with the ability to build and extend automation solutions.
Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Python, and the ability to create custom tools or solutions as needed.
Experience with UI automation tools, including Cypress and exploration of Playwright.
Experience with API testing tools, such as Postman, and API test automation.
Experience with performance and security testing methodologies.
AI & Architecture Experience
Solid understanding of AI concepts and how they can be applied to testing and automation.
Experience with architecture and design of AI?enabled systems, particularly in test automation contexts.
Familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph for building agent based or AI driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and continuously improve test strategy, automation frameworks, and user experience validation for a cloud based security platform.
Build and scale cloud native, cloud?agnostic automation solutions, with a strong emphasis on serverless and cloud driven architectures.
Develop and execute performance and security testing as part of the overall quality strategy.
Drive test automation metrics and maximize automation coverage wherever possible.
Design and implement API testing and API integration test coverage, supporting ongoing API buildnout efforts.
Build agent based systems capable of automatically selecting and executing appropriate testing processes.
Contribute to the long term vision of AI driven testing, automating most functional testing and enabling test engineers to focus on higher value work.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
Collaborate closely with leadership and engineering teams, bringing flexibility, openness to ideas, and ownership of outcomes.
