Sales Assistant position available at Silver Buffalo!

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities while supporting reporting, inventory management, and day-to-day sales operations.
This role is well suited for someone with strong Excel skills, a proactive mindset, and an interest in pop culture, trends, and licensed products.
What You Will Do!
- Maintain and update inventory tracking sheets and sales reports using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other formulas).
- Assist with order entry, tracking, and reporting within ERP or other business systems.
- Support the sales team with data analysis, reporting preparation, and account follow-ups.
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations for buyer meetings and internal reviews.
- Manage communication and scheduling through Outlook and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with merchandising, operations, and finance teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment or allocation decisions.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
What You Bring!
- 1–3 years of experience in wholesale, retail, or similar sales support environment.
- Off-price retail experience preferred but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, formulas, data organization).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote).
- Experience working in ERP systems or comparable business software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Fast learner with strong attention to detail.
- Interest in pop culture, trends, and licensed products is a plus.
