This position supports the Principal Development Manager in the development and management of large-scale natural gas power plant projects ranging from $100M to $2B. The role is responsible for assisting with project scheduling, budget management, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and overall project execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
This will be a hybrid role: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday working onsite and Wednesday and Friday working remote.
Key responsibilities include supporting stage-gate deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, scheduling, cost controls, construction, startup/testing), facilitating stakeholder meetings, tracking action items, and communicating project progress to leadership. The role also ensures quality standards are met and that team members understand their responsibilities.
The position requires applied engineering experience and strong project management knowledge; PMP certification is preferred. Experience in natural gas-fired generation or power generation development is desirable. Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Travel within Michigan (~10%) and a flexible schedule are required.
Pay: $37.00 - $49.33 per hour
