We’re looking for a junior designer or paid design intern to join us at The Home Team in Millbrae.
If you’re someone who wants to break into residential design — especially kitchens and bathrooms — this could be a great place to start.
We’re a design-build firm, which means you won’t just sit behind a desk doing drawings. You’ll see the entire process: how projects start with homeowners, how design decisions get made, and how they eventually get built.
The role is based in our showroom and includes:
• Interacting with homeowners and learning how projects begin
• Supporting our designers with selections and materials
• Getting exposure to real kitchen and bathroom projects
• Learning our software and design workflow
• Helping create a welcoming showroom experience (including serving coffee from our espresso bar ☕). You will be required to learn barista skills and make/serve drinks.
We’re a technology-forward company, and you’ll be surrounded by designers, founders, contractors, and professionals working on real residential projects every day.
This is ideal for:
• Architecture or interior design students
• Recent graduates
• Anyone eager to learn the residential design/build world
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Core hours 10 AM – 4 PM
Part-time, full-time, or paid internship options available.
