Our client, a fast-growing healthcare technology startup, is building AI-powered tools that automate administrative workflows for healthcare providers. Their platform integrates directly into provider systems to reduce manual work such as eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and claims workflows.
They are seeking Product Engineers who enjoy building 0→1 products and solving real-world operational problems.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship product features that automate healthcare workflows
- Design scalable backend systems including APIs, distributed services, and data pipelines
- Collaborate with engineers, product leaders, and healthcare domain experts
- Work directly with users to gather feedback and rapidly iterate on product improvements
- Monitor system performance and ensure accuracy, reliability, and security in healthcare environments
Required Experience
- 2+ years building and shipping 0→1 products, ideally at high-growth startups
- Proven experience building scalable backend systems (APIs, distributed systems, data pipelines)
- Full-stack engineering experience with product design/specification ownership
- Comfortable interacting with users and incorporating feedback into product development
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
Technical Stack
Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, Docker, Datadog
Backend: FastAPI, Pydantic, PostgreSQL
Frontend: React, Next.js
Tools: Posthog, Modal, Amplify
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Work Environment
- Hybrid role – NYC office 3–5 days per week

Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
