POSITION SUMMARY
The Seasonal Marketing & Content Strategy Associate will support our award-winning social team and report to the Assistant Manager of Social Media and Content. The role will contribute to research, content planning, and campaign execution across social, digital, and paid initiatives. The associate will assist in identifying cultural trends, brainstorming creative concepts, drafting and capturing content. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, and creative, with a passion for storytelling and digital culture. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in building marketing strategies, supporting content creation, and shaping meaningful brand moments in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture, edit, and publish lo-fi video and photo content across multiple social platforms
- Engage daily with the Rare Beauty TikTok community in both English and Spanish
- Research trends, cultural moments (including Latina/o/e culture), and competitive landscape to inform content strategy
- Support content calendars and campaign rollouts across social and digital channels
- Write engaging social copy and captions that reflect the brand voice and drive engagement
- Assist with Social Shoot high-quality photo/video production, including creative briefs, mood boards, shot lists, and post-production
- Brainstorm and pitch viral or trend-driven content ideas aligned with brand goals
- Support Latina/o/e cultural campaigns through ideation and executing through on-set assistance, partner coordination, and post-production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketing initiatives where needed
- Capture and finalize content quickly at events, shoots, and activations for real-time posting
- Help build an evergreen content library for core products
- Analyze top-performing posts and implement insights in real-time for optimization
- Assist with monthly social reporting
- Coordinate and send-out product shipments to freelance photographers and videographers
- Serve as point of contact for social team content tools and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRMENTS
- Creative, innovative personality that is always thinking outside of the box
- Quick and strategic video and photo editing
- Experience with bilingual (Spanish and English) community management, customer service and social engagement is a plus
- Strong ability to craft culturally relevant content and adapt marketing messaging for diverse Latino demographics
- In-depth knowledge of Latina/o/e cultural nuances and consumer trends
- Fluency in Spanish and ability to translate cultural contexts for marketing materials
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and responds to shifting workloads with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- 24-7 pulse on all things Gen-Z and is well-versed on the latest trends and platforms
- Entrepreneurial, “roll up your sleeves” attitude
- Must be available to be in-office in El Segundo 3 days per week, typically M,W,TH and available on one-off event days (over the weekend or during the week)

- Carrying boxes up to 20lbs.
- Packing mailers, as needed.
