As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who understands both performance marketing and brand execution.
Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing Rustic & Main’s digital marketing efforts across paid media, email, and website promotion. This role owns the customer journey from top-of-funnel awareness through conversion and retention, ensuring campaigns, messaging, and website updates are aligned and executed cleanly.
This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who understands TOF, MOF, and BOF strategy, has a strong creative eye, and can quickly implement marketing updates across ads, email, and the website when promotions or campaigns are live.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Create, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, Pinterest, and other relevant channels
- Develop and execute TOF, MOF, and BOF strategies to support full-funnel growth
- Test audiences, creatives, offers, and formats to improve performance
- Monitor and report on performance metrics including CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and test new growth strategies
Creative Development
- Conceptualize and create static and video ad creatives
- Design marketing assets using tools like Canva
- Identify creative trends and angles that align with Rustic & Main’s brand and drive engagement
- Provide creative input for photoshoots, video production, and seasonal campaigns
Email Marketing Strategy
- Own email marketing strategy, including promotional campaigns and automated flows
- Build and optimize customer journeys such as welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, and re-engagement
- Ensure messaging aligns with where the customer is in the funnel
- Analyze email performance and continuously improve engagement and conversion
Website & Promotion Management
- Make timely website updates to support sales, promotions, and campaigns (homepage banners, featured collections, messaging updates, etc.)
- Coordinate on-site messaging so it aligns with active ads and email campaigns
- Assist with basic site management tasks within Shopify, including content updates and merchandising
- Ensure promotional launches and takedowns are executed accurately and on schedule
- Assist with blogs strategy for SEO purposes
Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze marketing performance across ads, email, and on-site activity
- Use data to guide creative, messaging, and budget decisions
- Maintain a structured testing and optimization mindset
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or performance marketing
- Strong understanding of TOF, MOF, and BOF strategy
- Hands-on experience managing paid ad platforms (Meta and Google preferred)
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred)
- Comfortable making website updates in Shopify
- Strong visual and creative instincts with experience using Canva
- Data-driven, organized, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives at once

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 – $120,000, depending on experience
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- On-site role in Huntersville, NC
