A great client at UHY is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience with purchase orders and work orders, strong Excel skills, and excellent organization and communication abilities.
The Supply Chain Coordinator role is a hybrid position, 4 days in office. Please note this role will be 5 days in office during the first 3 months. This is a consulting position with an initial duration of 6–9 months and strong potential for direct hire.
Supply Chain Coordinator Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze data from multiple operational sites to support a large-scale tax credit project
- Review purchase orders, work orders, and related documentation to track contractor and vendor activities
- Analyze historical and ongoing data to identify trends, vendor usage, and cost differences across sites
- Compare contractor wage data against prevailing wage requirements and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with site managers to clarify contractor activities and documentation
- Identify the purpose of contractor visits and categorize activities such as repairs, maintenance, or project work
- Track new contractors and vendors while maintaining organized and accurate data files
- Support process improvements related to vendor tracking, data collection, and reporting
- Utilize Excel to manage datasets, reporting, and ongoing project tracking
- Operate as a self-starter in a newly created role with evolving processes and responsibilities
Supply Chain Coordinator Requirements
- Experience working with purchase orders, work orders, or similar supply chain documentation
- Strong Excel skills and ability to manage and analyze large datasets
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow up with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently and manage a project-driven workload
- Associate’s degree or related business background preferred
- Prior experience in supply chain, purchasing, or operations support is a plus
