What does the Public Relations & Marketing Specialist do?
The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of public and media relations, marketing,
advertising, and a majority of the customer-facing, transit user information efforts for the Authority. This
includes the Authority's web-based and social media presence.

To Succeed In This Role, You'll Need
In-depth knowledge of marketing, advertising, and public relations techniques, including social
media
Strong written and organizational skills
Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office programs and
advanced desktop publishing programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and
Illustrator
Working knowledge of the WordPress platform
Ability to quickly learn other computer applications and programs
Familiar with Virtual Public Involvement (VPI) strategies

The starting salary is $53,182, or commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid time
