We are hiring a Community Growth & Partnerships Lead to help build the early Sophia network and introduce the platform to exceptional people.
Your job is to identify high-quality social networks, cultivate relationships with influential connectors, and develop partnerships that drive high-quality Sophia applications.
This role sits at the intersection of community building, partnerships, and cultural influence.
What You’ll Do
Grow Sophia’s early community through relationships and partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and recruit high-quality early members for Sophia
- Develop partnerships with communities aligned with Sophia’s audience, including
-wellness studios
-founder networks
-cultural organizations
-creative and professional communities
- Build relationships with connectors who influence social circles
- Organize and support Sophia events and gatherings
- Develop referral pipelines that generate high-quality member applications
- Work with the growth team to amplify partnerships through content and distribution
- Maintain relationships with creators, hosts, and community leaders
- Help shape Sophia’s reputation within key social networks

Qualifications
- Experience in community building, partnerships, events, or business development
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent taste and judgment in identifying high-quality communities
- Comfortable hosting or facilitating gatherings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Bonus:
- Experience in luxury brands, hospitality, or membership communities
- Experience working with founders, creators, or cultural tastemakers
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent flow of high-quality Sophia applications through partnerships and referrals
- A growing network of trusted connectors and community partners
- Successful Sophia events that attract aligned audiences
- Increasing reputation of Sophia within key social circles
Compensation
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000
Plus performance incentives tied to member acquisition.
- Higher end reserved for candidates who have successfully scaled a consumer brand and can demonstrate measurable impact.
- Equity 0.25% – .5%
- Performance Bonus tied to users acquired and strategic partnerships.
