Groundworks is currently in its early growth stage, and this role will be the first creative hire supporting multiple client accounts.
The Role
We are looking for a Content, Marketing & Digital Production Associate to help support the execution of creative marketing strategies across multiple client accounts.
This role focuses on content planning, social media execution, and digital marketing support.
You will work directly with the founder to help organize content calendars, assist with publishing and engagement, and support the implementation of brand and marketing strategies.
This position is ideal for someone early in their career who wants real hands-on experience working across multiple brands while helping grow a creative marketing consultancy.
Responsibilities
• Assist with managing social media accounts for multiple clients
• Help organize and maintain monthly content calendars
• Write captions and assist with post scheduling and publishing
• Monitor engagement and assist with community interaction
• Track post performance and assist with engagement analysis
• Help maintain brand voice and visual consistency across accounts
• Support the execution of creative marketing strategies
Tools & Platforms We Use
This role will work with a modern creative marketing tool stack including:
• Metricool — social media scheduling, analytics, and account management
• Rella — content planning and creator workflows
• Canva — design and creative asset development
• Flick — hashtag strategy and social growth insights
• Motion — workflow and task management
• Google Workspace and collaborative marketing tools
Experience with these tools is not required, but curiosity and willingness to learn new systems is important.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of Instagram and social media platforms
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects and brands
• Interest in marketing, branding, and creative strategy
Bonus (not required)
• Experience with social media scheduling tools
• Basic design experience (Canva or similar)
• Familiarity with short-form video editing
• Previous experience assisting with brand or social media accounts
Compensation
This role will begin as a contract / work-for-hire position and includes:
• Monthly base retainer
• Percentage participation on accounts managed
• Opportunity for compensation growth as the company expands
As the first hire at Groundworks Digital Strategy, this position has significant potential to grow into a larger role as the company continues to add clients.
Location
Los Angeles preferred but not required.
