Join our dynamic team in Torrance CA as a Japanese bilingual Audit Staff member, where you will play a critical role in supporting both U.S. and Japanese clientele.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical accounting skills across a variety of attestation and non-attestation engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit & Attestation: Execute day-to-day activities for diverse client engagements, ensuring adherence to the firm’s Audit Methodology.
- Technical Reporting: Detect and communicate complex accounting and auditing matters to seniors, managers, and partners.
- Cross-Border Liaison: Serve as a vital link between U.S. and Japanese clients, facilitating efficient information flow and clear communication.
- Business Services: Perform essential non-attestation services, including bookkeeping, payroll, consulting, and miscellaneous tax filings (property, sales, etc.).
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client performance and internal team efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- CPA Path: Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
- Language: Professional Japanese language proficiency is required (written and verbal).
- Technical Skills: Ability to handle bookkeeping tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership potential, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as required for client engagements.

Schedule & Environment
