We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer with 2+ years of experience who is eager to grow their technical skills, contribute to multidisciplinary project teams, and support the design and optimization of energy facilities. What You’ll Do
As a Junior Process Engineer, you will support process engineering activities across various project phases—from conceptual design through detailed engineering and operational support. Responsibilities include:
Technical Support
- Assist in developing process simulations and models under senior guidance
- Support preparation of key engineering deliverables, including:
- Heat & Material Balances
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Engineering calculations, reports, and data sheets
- Conduct basic analyses of facility performance and help identify opportunities for optimization or debottlenecking
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, senior engineers, and project managers
- Interface with vendors to gather technical information and support equipment specification
- Support commissioning, start‑up activities, and field engineering tasks when required
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Participate in P&ID reviews, hazard assessments, and design verification activities
- Ensure deliverables comply with applicable engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
Technical Exposure
You will gain hands‑on experience in a variety of process systems, which may include:
- Natural gas processing (sweet and sour gas)
- Oil processing, including heavy oil, stabilization, and treating operations
- Power Generation
- Brownfield MOC’s
- Refinery process systems
About You
You are an early-career engineer with a desire to learn, take on new challenges, and contribute to high-quality engineering work. You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering (EPC/EPCM experience preferred)
- Familiarity with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, or similar)
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
