A great sales deck is not a designed document. It is a persuasive argument. Every slide earns the next one. The story moves the buyer from problem to solution to decision. The design supports the narrative, it does not replace it.

About Laughing Man Coffee
Laughing Man Coffee is a New York-based coffee brand with both a physical café and a growing ecommerce operation. We are building a sales deck to support our commercial growth and need someone who can help us tell that story clearly and compellingly.
What This Role Is
- Take our scripts, briefs, and rough content and shape them into a clear, persuasive sales narrative
- Structure the deck so the story flows and every slide serves a purpose
- Design clean, professional layouts that support the narrative, not distract from it
- Deliver editable source files in PowerPoint or Google Slides plus a PDF export
- Work through feedback rounds efficiently without losing the thread
What This Role Is Not
✗ Reformatting or beautifying existing slides
✗ General graphic design or brand design
✗ Building decks where someone else owns the narrative
✗ A good fit if your portfolio is logos, websites, or social media
Who We Are Looking For
You must be able to:
- Build a sales narrative from a brief, audience, problem, solution, call to action
- Explain why each slide exists and what it needs to make the buyer feel or think
- Show a portfolio of decks that were built to win business, not just inform
- Work in PowerPoint or Google Slides at a professional level
- Deliver on time and handle revisions without losing quality
Strong signals we look for:
- You ask about the audience and the objective before you open a design tool
- You have built decks with real outcomes
- You understand the difference between a slide that looks good and a slide that sells
- You have worked in B2B sales, pitch consulting, or sales enablement contexts
