Job Title: Part-time Coding & AI Instructor

About Us
Vinci STEAM Education is rapidly expanding its computer science and artificial intelligence programs for K–12 students. We are looking for passionate, tech-forward instructors who can teach coding, computational thinking, and age-appropriate AI concepts through engaging, practical, and project-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Delivery: Teach coding and introductory AI courses, supporting regular classes, project-based learning (PBL) modules, and specialized workshops.
- Curriculum Facilitation: Guide students through Scratch, Python, fundamental algorithms, and the practical application of AI concepts.
- Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching styles and pacing to suit various age groups and skill levels, ensuring an inclusive and effective learning environment.
- Project Mentorship: Support students in competition-level coding, portfolio development, and innovative "capstone" projects.
- Collaboration: Provide feedback on curriculum effectiveness and contribute to the refinement of teaching materials.
- Event Support: Assist with trial lessons, seasonal STEM camps, and high-profile community tech events.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree. Preferred majors include Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or related technical fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one educational programming language (e.g., Scratch, Python).
- Experience: Prior experience in coding instruction or leading youth-focused technology projects is highly preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong sense of responsibility, excellent verbal communication, and a natural ability to connect with and inspire young learners.
- Adaptability: Comfortable teaching diverse age ranges, from early elementary to high school students.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Python: Ability to teach intermediate Python concepts and libraries.
- Block-based Coding: Mastery of Scratch or similar platforms for younger students.
- AI Literacy: Hands-on experience with basic AI/Machine Learning projects.
- Competitive Edge: Experience with coding competitions (e.g., USACO) or project-based teaching methodologies.
