Acara Solutions is hiring a Content Marketing Specialist for our client in San Diego, CA. This is a contract role and can be onsite, hybrid, or remote.
Pay rate: $40-45/hr
Role and responsibilities
- Work closely with the US Head of Employer Brand Communications, the employer brand and U.S. recruitment teams to develop and deliver content (related to both Client branding and specific competencies-) for a variety of platforms used to attract high-quality applicants to Client
- Establish and own content strategy for channels; create and launch content that tells Client's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) story in various formats, including social, video, website, event collateral, presentations, and more
- Manage multi-channel asset creation including but not limited to article writing, newsletter production, emails, banners, flyers, billboards, video etc.,
- Own and maintain a content calendar for all employer brand communications content channels and ensure accurate and timely delivery of content assets
- Work with team members to ensure all content needs are met by effectively tracking/ trafficking content from conception to execution i.e. writing/editing and/or freelancer management as well as graphic design and review approval process for brand and IP protection
- Creation and management of a messaging house and persona work to identify and define each unique talent vertical
- Establish, manage and grow relationships with global Comms Center of Excellence, US internal communications, Talent Acquisition and other key business stakeholders to identify US-specific and globally relevant stories and coordinate publication on US/global (shared) channels
- Work with digital/creative agencies, photographers, videographers, and employer brand communications colleagues to track, measure and report on results and key metrics. Optimize content and campaigns based on results.
- Proactively research and recommend new employer branding/EVP content that addresses key recruitment needs
- Work closely with global editorial team to write and edit content for website, social, recruitment platforms, etc.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in campaign content management/creation
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Master's degree a plus
- Science/technology background a plus
- Experience working in integrated communications teams would be a plus
- Exceptional writing and communication skills; clear, concise, and professional. Secure grasp of spelling, grammar, writing mechanics, and punctuation.
- Strong project management skills: ability to work with agencies/vendors and adapt to changes in business priorities, timelines, scope or resources; build measurement into plans; monitor, track, and report progress
- Ability to tailor messages and develop content for specific target audiences
- Familiarity with key talent-facing channels such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed, etc.
- Strong ability to create processes, templates and ways of working to optimize efficiency in the content creation/delivery process lifecycle
- Experience planning and executing photography and video shoots to create unique assets
- Search engine optimization (SEO) skills and/or understanding across content types from articles to landing pages to job postings etc.,
- Basic working knowledge/experience with Adobe products such as InDesign, Photoshop
- Knowledge of and/or experience managing an asset management system
