Job Overview:
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services domain, is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support business operations, requirement gathering, and data-driven decision-making initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
- Assist in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
- Collaborate with business teams, developers, and QA teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements
- Perform data analysis using Excel, SQL, and reporting tools to derive insights
- Support process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap analysis
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate business requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for business stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation of business processes and system workflows
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or training considered)
- Basic understanding of Business Analysis and SDLC concepts
- Hands-on experience with Excel and basic SQL
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Confluence
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
- Understanding of financial services domain (nice to have)
