Lioncrest works closely with entrepreneurs, investors, and operators to identify compelling opportunities and support companies as they scale.
We are seeking an Analyst to work directly with the Managing Partners to support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investments while also assisting with portfolio monitoring and firm initiatives.
This role provides exposure to the full investment lifecycle from sourcing and diligence through portfolio monitoring and offers the opportunity to develop strong analytical and investment judgment within a growing investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Research & Financial Analysis
- Build financial models evaluating projected operating performance and valuation scenarios
- Analyze historical financial statements and operating metrics of prospective and existing portfolio companies
- Conduct industry research, market sizing, and competitive landscape analysis
- Prepare comparative analyses and benchmarking across companies and sectors
Due Diligence & Investment Evaluation
- Support diligence efforts across both venture and private credit investment opportunities
- Research and synthesize information on companies, technologies, and markets
- Assist in preparing investment memoranda and materials for internal investment discussions
- Participate in calls with founders, management teams, and industry experts
Deal Flow & Pipeline Management
- Review inbound investor decks and identify companies aligned with Lioncrest’s investment criteria
- Track and manage the firm’s deal pipeline and maintain updated deal flow records
Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist with monitoring portfolio company performance and key operating metrics
- Support preparation of periodic portfolio updates and operating reports
- Conduct ongoing research and analysis relevant to portfolio companies and sectors
Firm Development & Special Projects
- Support internal research initiatives and firm documentation
- Assist with preparation of investor materials and strategic initiatives
- Provide regular updates on assigned projects and collaborate closely with the investment team on ongoing priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong interest in emerging technologies, and private markets
Work Structure
This role follows a hybrid structure and requires candidates to be based in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, with flexibility for remote work and periodic in-person collaboration during investment cycles, team meetings, and firm events.
