Summary
We are seeking a talented Landscape Designer to join our team at Foxscapes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing innovative landscapes that meet client needs and wants. Your creativity and technical skills will play a crucial role in shaping beautiful outdoor environments across Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative landscape designs that align with client preferences and environmental sustainability.
- Utilize Uvision or equivalent software to create detailed landscape plans and drafts.
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure designs are executed accurately.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate conditions and inform design decisions.
- Incorporate hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls into designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and sustainable practices in landscape design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Uvision or equivalent software
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Excellent drafting skills with experience in creating detailed plans.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and contractors.
- Knowledge of hardscape materials and installation techniques is beneficial.
