Role Description
This is a full-time partial on-site and partial remote role located in New York, NY for an Operations/Sales Manager at RMP Travel Inc. This person will work directly with the current staff and owner. Responsibilities include creating customized proposals based on client needs, building tour itineraries with creative flair, program contracting,-booking and delivery including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support in New York and other major US cities. You will travel to and represent RMP Travel Inc at domestic and international trade shows, attend fun industry events, and more.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, motivated, friendly, flexible individual who shares a passion for travel and tourism and enjoys working with people
- Excellent Communication skills to facilitate seamless interaction with team members, clients and partners- verbal and written
- Understanding of travel logistics, vendor relations, and itinerary planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of US destinations and cultural nuances
- Experience in tourism or hospitality management is preferred however training will be provided for a bright beginner
- Good computer skills required
