We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role will primarily focus on building and supporting a Node.js backend and a React?based frontend, while also contributing to side initiatives, proof?of?concept work, and ongoing production support.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, communicative, and comfortable taking ownership of their work in a collaborative environment.
- Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and user interfaces
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend application components
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues
- Contribute to unit testing and test automation efforts
- Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external users
- Strong experience across backend and frontend development
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web technologies
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Ability to diagnose and resolve application errors effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow?through
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in a full stack engineering role
- Hands?on backend development experience (e.g., Node.js, Java 8+)
- Experience working with relational database systems
- Frontend development experience using modern frameworks (preferably React and TypeScript)
- Bias toward action and a proactive problem?solving mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and test script development

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
