Position Overview
This position supports the creative development of automotive vehicle collectibles, primarily focused on die-cast vehicles and related collector products. The role places primary emphasis on product ideation and development, including identifying potential vehicle subjects, developing new releases using existing tooling assets, and contributing to the visual and physical characteristics that define each collectible release.
Many of these products are developed in collaboration with a library of well-known performance automotive brands and entertainment licenses. The position therefore requires the ability to design within established brand identities while maintaining the authenticity and detail expected by collectors.
In addition to product development responsibilities, the role includes the design and execution of packaging that communicates the authenticity and appeal of the vehicle to a knowledgeable collector audience. Packaging in this category functions as part of the overall product experience and must reflect both the vehicle’s identity and the expectations of automotive enthusiasts.
The position works closely with internal product and design teams as well as overseas manufacturing partners throughout development and production. The role may also share art direction responsibilities with other designers to help maintain visual consistency across product lines.
A strong understanding of automobiles and automotive culture is essential.
