Since its founding in 1991 to compete in North America’s premier open-wheel series, our team—based in Indianapolis—has played a key role in the success of numerous racing disciplines, including Champ Car, CART, IndyCar, Indy Lights, Formula Atlantic, ALMS, and IMSA. Today, Conquest Racing stands as one of the largest and most accomplished teams in the Ferrari Challenge North America Trofeo Pirelli series.

This position will report to the CEO and will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to the company’s long-term goals and success through accounting functions. The successful candidate will be collaborative, highly motivated, and possess the desire to constantly improve processes with an emphasis towards financial and operational best practices. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all accounts payable/receivable, controller and payroll-related matters.
- Lead the account payable function including monitoring the company’s A/P inbox, recording and reconciling invoices, assisting with the approval of invoices, and other matters. This includes communication with vendors.
- Lead the account receivable function including creating invoices, sending invoices to clients, and follow-up on past due invoices.
- Complete the monthly accounting close and the preparation of the financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in accordance with GAAP. This includes making all journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support with insurance, vehicle registrations, etc.
- Support the CEO on budgeting and financial planning efforts for the Company.
- Monitor and forecast cash flows for the company and report to leadership.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in public or corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, reporting and compliance.
- Proficient with QuickBooks online and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels internal and external to the organization, written and verbal.
- Excellent business acumen, and an ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, with the ability to see the big picture.
- High personal integrity, strong work ethics, and a positive attitude are a must.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
