Duties
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts.
- Manage a designated territory by building relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for growth through upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage pipeline activities, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that boost brand awareness and lead generation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to inform management decisions and strategy adjustments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify new opportunities and convert leads into loyal customers.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to build lasting relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing sales activities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in product demos, technical sales presentations, and upselling strategies.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse clients across various industries.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts within assigned territories.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, lead generation techniques, and inside/outside sales processes is highly desirable.
