Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Mechanical Engineering Summer Internship located in Emeryville, CA.
The selected individual can be/will be involved on the following projects:
- work on spare part manuals in Creo and AutoCAD
- update documents and manuals
- work with updating 3D CAD models and drawings in Creo
- work on making needed revisions to parts
The following things will be learned over the summer:
- learn about bills of materials
- learn to use our custom ERP software
- learn how to make revisions
- learn about welding and manufacturing
- learn to work communicate with machinists, welders and mechanics
- learn how a design team functions
Qualifications
- Pursuit of Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Mechanical aptitude
- ability to learn quickly
- proficiency in word and Photoshop
- exposure to 3D CAD software
