Role Overview
We are seeking a Global HR Director to lead and scale the people function during a critical phase of global growth. This role will partner closely with the executive team to support a highly technical, product- and engineering-driven organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong HR leadership experience with a deep understanding of technical teams, engineering culture, and product development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute global people strategy aligned with rapid business and product growth
- Partner with executives and engineering leadership on org design, talent strategy, and scaling technical teams
- Build and scale HR functions across talent acquisition, performance, and employee engagement
- Lead global HR operations across the US, APAC, and Europe
- Support hiring and retention of top-tier technical talent (engineering, AI/ML, product)
- Drive leadership development and high-performance culture within a technical organization
- Establish scalable HR systems and processes for a fast-growing, distributed team
- Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of HR leadership experience, including global scope
- Proven experience supporting engineering, product, or AI/ML teams in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of technical hiring, talent markets, and engineering org structures
- Ability to partner effectively with technical leaders and translate business needs into people strategies
- Hands-on experience building HR infrastructure in scaling organizations
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
Preferred
- Background in AI, SaaS, or developer/product-led companies
- Experience in venture-backed or hypergrowth environments
- Prior experience working closely with founders or C-level executives
- Exposure to distributed or globally remote engineering teams
