About the role
We’re hiring an Software Developer to work on our PATH platform — a high-throughput system that processes 1M+ signals per day to power real-time publisher monetization at scale. You’ll work on services that handle real-time offer ranking and optimization, traffic routing, scoring algorithms, and lead delivery — all in a microservices architecture where every decision is measured, tested, and continuously optimized. You’ll build new services from scratch, wire up agentic workflows that automate operational bottlenecks, and ship features that have direct, measurable impact on revenue. Our engineering team is agile and lean. You own it, you ship it, you measure it.
You’ll report to the Director of Engineering and work alongside a team of engineers building and shipping across the PATH stack. We’re an AI-first engineering team — our agentic tooling means you’ll punch above your weight from day one. There is always opportunity to grow and get promoted based on your technical growth and project ownership.
What AI-First Means Here:
- Every team member has access to a suite of AI tools (company-managed licenses for Claude, ChatGPT, and specialized development tools).
- We’re building AI agents that automate engineering and operational workflows — you’ll direct these tools as part of your arsenal.
- We understand AI cannot replace engineering judgment and systems thinking. Your ability to design and ship reliable systems is what qualifies you to direct AI-driven development.
What you’ll do:
- Build and evolve scoring services that rank and optimize offer selection and placement in real time
- Architect and ship new microservices from concept to production — rapid prototyping is the norm, not the exception
- Design agentic automation flows that replace manual operational work with intelligent, self-directing pipelines
- Continuously optimize platform performance — latency, throughput, and revenue impact are your metrics
- Work across the full stack in a microservices environment on AWS (EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, Athena, S3)
- Work with the infrastructure team to build out infra with Terraform/Atlantis and deploy via ArgoCD
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; 1–3 years of professional software development experience accepted in lieu of a degree
- Strong software engineering fundamentals — you write clean, shippable code
- Experience with Go or TypeScript; Python familiarity is a plus
- Comfort working in AWS cloud environments
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) and a mindset for using them to move faster
- Interest or experience in building agentic workflows (tool-calling patterns, automation pipelines)
- You’ll ship to production your first week and talk directly to the team about what to build next
