Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented IT Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise systems used by Finance, with a strong focus on billing systems, data integrity, and analytics platforms. This role is embedded within IT and serves as a critical bridge between enterprise systems, data architecture, and financial operations.

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that core financial workflows—particularly billing within the Synapse WMS (Made4net)—are technically sound, scalable, and data-accurate. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in data, systems integration, and BI tools, along with sufficient financial acumen to translate business needs into reliable system solutions.

Primary ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Systems & WMS

· Serve as IT subject matter expert for Synapse (Made4net) WMS billing functionality

· Configure and support billing workflows, rate structures, and transaction processing

· Manage vendor relationship, including escalations, defects, and enhancements

· Ensure system performance, reliability, and alignment with business needs

· Ability to learn new systems quickly and integrate them into current infrastructure

Data Engineering & Analytics

· Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and system integrations

· Manage data across databases, data lakes, and lakehouse platforms

· Develop financial and operational data models

· Deliver scalable reporting using Power BI and Excel

Billing Systems Integrity & Validation

· Ensure end-to-end accuracy of billing system workflows

· Implement automated validation, audit checks, and controls

· Partner with Finance to investigate and optimize billing setup and output based on customer requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Act as a technical liaison translating business requirements into system and data solutions

· Bridge communication between IT, Finance, and Operations teams

· Support analysts by enabling reliable data structures and reporting capabilities

· Provide guidance on system capabilities, constraints, and best practices

Continuous Improvement

· Identify automation and process optimization opportunities

· Lead financial system upgrades and enterprise integrations

· Improve data architecture, reporting performance, and usability

· Contribute to analytics, data, and AI strategy initiatives

· Evaluate AI-driven solutions (Microsoft Copilot, Fabric AI, ML models) to improve billing accuracy and anomaly detection

Required Qualifications

· 5–7 years of enterprise systems experience (Synapse WMS by Made4Net as well as Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred)

· 3–5 years of SQL, data modeling, and ETL experience

· Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Warehouses, Spark Notebooks, and Power BI semantic models

· 2+ years of Power BI development experience

· Understanding of billing processes and financial data structures

· Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data

Preferred Skills

· Experience in 3PL, logistics, or warehousing environments

· Experience integrating or supporting ERP or financial systems

· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
