Job Description
Design Liaison Engineer
- Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to continuously drive improvements and disposition hardware non-conformances while maintaining optimal quality for customers
- Support design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering
- Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment
- Apply knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement ideas that enhance part functionality, reduce cost, and add value
- Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts
- Drive proactive quality engagement for defect reduction and process improvements
- Support qualification guidelines, specifications, and resolution of key manufacturing issues
- Contribute to technology development and qualification of special processes (castings, coatings, hole drilling, etc.)
- Foster teamwork, a positive work environment, and a sense of urgency around quality and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

- Gas turbine engineering experience (especially hot section components)
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control
- Experience with HGP components, including NX, GD&T, and ANSYS Classic

- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $57.00 - $61.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
