Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support our HVAC and Plumbing design team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within a dynamic consulting environment. This position offers exposure to all project phases—from schematic design through construction administration—and the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and layout of HVAC and plumbing systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and duct/piping layouts under senior engineer supervision.
- Support the preparation of construction documents, technical specifications, and shop drawing reviews.
- Coordinate designs with electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure fully integrated project deliverables.
- Conduct field visits to document existing conditions and support construction administration tasks.
- Research new products, materials, and technologies to support energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- E.I. (Engineer Intern) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing fundamentals and familiarity with ASHRAE standards, Florida Building Code, and energy codes.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (academic or internship experience acceptable).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Desire to grow professionally within the consulting engineering field.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
