We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team in Fort Myers.
AutoSPRINK experience is preferred, but candidates with other fire sprinkler design software will be considered.
We are looking for someone who can step in and contribute quickly.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout fire sprinkler systems
- Produce shop drawings and submittals
- Perform hydraulic calculations
- Design and coordinate fire pump replacements
- Layout and design standpipe systems
- Design backflow preventer systems
- Work on dry systems and specialty applications
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and AHJs
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes
Requirements
- Experience in fire sprinkler system design
- Experience with design software (AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Pay
- $80,000 – $100,000/year (based on experience)
- Top pay for experienced designers
