Core Responsibilities
- Help drive the strategy and activation of key campaigns across the LEGO brand calendar in the US market
- Develop strong and effective PR communication plans including innovative ideas at affordable cost for various activations e.g. consumer events, product launches, cultural occasions
- Lead event planning and creative closely linked to the aligned brand activation calendar to improve consumers sales and PR
- Help manage external PR/activation agencies, and implement PR plans including press releases, story pitching, media kits in joint collaboration with the agency
- Build strong relations with mainstream media, influencers (across different passion points) and other key external partners
- Help integrate earned media plans within an OESP mix, working with other channels and our brand team.
- Manage budgets and run evaluation reviews on each project

The Earned Media & Events Manager will drive measurable impact by securing high-quality earned media coverage that improves reach and brand visibility, while driving events that consistently deliver against footfall, engagement, PR value, and sales KPIs. Through cultivating strong, effective partnerships and collaborations, this role will amplify the team's ability to extend its influence and create meaningful brand moments that resonate with key audiences. By ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time and on budget — while maintaining high satisfaction among both internal and external collaborators — this person will serve as a reliable operational backbone that elevates the entire team's performance and reputation.
Do you have what it takes?
- Demonstrated ability in PR, events, partnerships, or integrated marketing (retail, lifestyle, FMCG, or consumer brands preferred)
- Strong understanding of the retail environment and omnichannel marketing
- Proven track record in managing agencies, media, and partners
- Experience in delivering high-impact events and brand activations
- Strong commercial savvy with the ability to translate brand initiatives into measurable business outcomes
- Understanding of influencer marketing from an earned point of view
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to bring to life creative concepts for internal partners
- Strong collaborator and able to work across various functions and external partners
- A good understanding of budget management for campaign and agency planning

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $120,830.00 - $181,246.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
