Role Description
- Execute trades for client accounts and liaise with counterparty banks for accurate, timely pricing
- Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management
- Own data entry and portfolio consolidation with a high degree of precision
- Build and communicate investment theses across equities, fixed income, and ETFs — from macro drivers through to portfolio-level conviction
- Assist financial advisers in pitching new clients: investment proposals, portfolio presentations, and product overviews
- Conduct deep due diligence on hedge funds, private securities, and alternative investments
- Wear many hats — this role touches research, client work, operations, and trading
Qualifications
- Expertise in Investments and Portfolio Management
- Strong Analytical Skills and Financial Modeling capabilities
- Prior experience in financial services (trading, wealth/asset management, or similar)
- Genuine passion for markets with strong, well-reasoned views on macro and micro developments
- Ability to translate complex market dynamics into clear narratives for clients and investment committees
- Detail-oriented and methodical — you don't rush at the expense of quality, but you keep pace
- Strong multitasker comfortable in a boutique firm environment
- Excellent client-facing presence and interpersonal skills
