Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. Duties
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing and job cost reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, as well as adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Lead balance sheet reconciliation efforts, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and account analysis.
- Manage cash flow and cash management activities to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, highlighting key insights for stakeholders.
- Prepare and file all taxes required of the Corporation.
- Conduct internal controls testing to safeguard assets and ensure process integrity.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and reporting deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems; familiarity with financial management tools is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis and account reconciliation efficiently.
- Excellent knowledge of cash management techniques and financial report writing practices.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Technical proficiency in general ledger reconciliation, forecasting, budgeting processes, and payroll administration
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills; high level of integrity and confidentiality

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
