Job At-A-Glance
The Summer Internship Program spans 12 weeks (May 26 - August 14) and offers paid hourly positions averaging 40 hours per week. Interns gain invaluable hands-on experience in a professional environment centered around digital banking software and technology.
In addition to your regular responsibilities, you'll participate in networking events, attend professional development workshops, and present to our Executive Leadership Team at the program's conclusion. Successful completion of the internship could potentially lead to a full-time position upon graduation.
This role operates on a hybrid basis, requiring in-office presence three days per week in the Austin office.
A Typical Day
We're seeking passionate individuals with strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. As a Security Intern, you'll help protect innovative products used by 400+ financial institutions. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn alongside experienced security professionals while contributing to real-world cybersecurity operations.
What You'll Do
• Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM and endpoint tools
• Assist with investigating security incidents and documenting findings
• Support threat hunting and vulnerability assessment activities
• Help maintain security documentation and processes
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and IT teams on security best practices
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and training materials
What You'll Bring
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Interest in cybersecurity tools, scripting, or automation (Python, PowerShell is a plus)
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
