Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Specialist based in Austin, TX. The Design Specialist will be responsible for executing graphic design projects, creating visual assets, and utilizing computer-aided design software for detailed and artistic renderings. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research to stay updated on design trends, collaborating with team members to conceptualize innovative designs, and ensuring all deliverables align with Pottery Barn’s brand standards. The role also involves contributing to architectural elements and visual merchandising within our store designs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and experience creating high-quality visual assets
- Strong understanding of Graphics and the ability to work collaboratively on visual projects
- Experience in Architecture and design aesthetics, with a focus on interior and space design
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and other design tools
- Strong research skills to stay informed on design trends and best practices
- Attention to detail, excellent creativity, and a passion for design
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in retail design or visual merchandising is a plus
