Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As an SDR for HBG, you will help drive growth for some of the most exciting startups in healthcare and the life sciences.
You’ll be on the front line of go-to-market efforts, raising awareness of our partner’s solutions, identifying high-potential prospects and setting up sales meetings.
This is an ideal role for an early-career professional or someone looking to make a career switch into healthcare sales. You will build core skills in B2B sales and marketing with opportunities for rapid career progression.
You’ll gain hands-on experience, executive exposure and fast growth opportunities while working closely with HBG leadership and high-growth startup founders!
Key Responsibilities:
- Help develop customer profiles and messaging that speaks to urgent ‘up at night’ problems
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate demand
- Open doors with decision makers at pharma, health plans and health systems on behalf of innovative digital health companies
- Work with leadership to incorporate feedback from prospects to improve messaging and positioning
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine processes and playbooks for long-term success
- Manage and track lead activity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and desire to learn new skills, building towards a career in healthcare sales and marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills - someone that people like to work with
- Resilient, able to handle rejection or ghosting from prospects without taking it personally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc) is a plus but not required.
- Any experience working in a clinical setting is a bonus but not required (ex nurse, medical assistant, social worker etc)
