Project Manager / Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Estimator to lead projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for cost estimating, proposal preparation, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and full project execution. The ideal candidate has strong field knowledge, financial oversight experience, contract management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Overnight travel will be required, and volume will vary week by week, depending on need. Estimated travel will be between 25% and 40%.
General Responsibilities
Estimating
- Review scope of work, plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing
- Prepare proposals and develop execution plans
- Identify value engineering opportunities
Project Management
- Manage projects from award to closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers
- Track job costs, budgets, and profitability
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Conduct job meetings and client updates
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction project management and estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with estimating and scheduling software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Capable of working on a team
- Must be able to function in a highly dynamic environment
Preferred
- Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure projects, oil & gas, power generation or renewables estimating and project management
Compensation
- Competitive salary based on experience
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
